Welverdiend Private Game Reserve (about 7300 ha) is a family-run working farm. The owners bought this farm in 2022, to pursue their love for South African wildlife and the beauty of the Karoo. In the early days of the farm, the Nyala cottage was a worker’s house, which the current owners saw as a golden opportunity to renovate it into the beautiful cottage that it is now.

The reserve is situated 3 and a half hours from Cape Town along one of the most beautiful routes in the Western Cape.
